Ouita is an experienced and knowledgeable osteopath with further qualifications in sports/remedial massage and dry needling. She is an AHPRA registered practitioner and a member of Osteopathy Australia.
Ouita discovered osteopathy after undertaking a qualification in Remedial Massage Therapy in London in 2008. Upon completing her massage qualification, she was fascinated by the body and left questioning the ‘why’ and ‘how’ of injury and pain. She had discovered a strong interest in diagnosis, anatomy and biomechanics. Osteopathy was a natural fit and she moved to Melbourne in 2010 to study at Victoria University.
After completing her studies, Ouita worked in Melbourne (Hobson's Bay Osteopathy and Knox Osteopathic Clinic) before discovering the outrageous beauty of Tasmania. She moved here in 2017 and worked at Osteopic for 5 years (Bellerive/Kingston) before moving to her own practice in 2022.
Outside of osteopathy, Ouita is a mother, a rock climber, a hiker and a mountain biker. She can often be found pottering in her native garden or partaking in good coffee.
