Beach Road Body and Mind is a multi-modality wellness centre located at Long Beach in Sandy Bay, Tasmania.

The centre has been a long-term dream of Eleanor Braithwaite who knows first-hand the impact that stress and trauma can have not only on the health of an individual, but their entire family. She opened The Rejuv Centre in West Hobart in 2017, but wanted to create a space where families could access a broader range of holistic therapies and treatments in one place, reducing some of the common barriers parents have to accessing the support and self-care they need.

Beach Road Body and Mind houses a collective of like-minded practitioners who are all passionate about healing on all levels - body, mind and spirit. They all practice as individual businesses within the centre but are able to refer you to other practitioners and classes if they think you would benefit. It’s about creating a beautiful, healing space and community where you feel safe and supported.

Studies show that feeling socially connected has by far a stronger effect on health than physical factors such as smoking, diet, exercise, etc. Although we’ve been relatively lucky in Tasmania, the events of 2020 and beyond have had a significant impact on the mental and physical health of so many people. Finding a group of people who care about you, support you to make positive choices and cheer you on is more important than ever.

We invite you to become part of the community at Beach Road Body and Mind, with an ever-growing range of practitioners, classes and workshops (with friends you haven’t met yet) to support all aspects of you and your family’s health. We can’t wait to welcome you!

“Interactions with other human beings — in particular, emotional interactions — affect our biological functioning in myriad and subtle ways almost every moment of our lives. They are important determinants of health. Understanding the intricate balance of relationships among our psychological dynamics, our emotional environment and our physiology is crucial to well-being.”
